On 2019–2021 Yamaha FX models, RIVA reports gains of up to 5 mph when used on a machine where the factory speed limiter has been removed using MaptunerX.
For modified or remapped FX SVHO models, the improved ride-plate geometry also helps the hull remain composed as speeds increase.
Performance gains will naturally vary according to ski specification, rider weight, water conditions and other modifications.
