This is the green water pump gasket that is the replacement to the previous black version which had a tendency to slowly leak coolant. Fitting within the recess of the housing there is a visible part so removal is not necessary to check which version is installed.
 
When changing this no coolant drain is available so spare coolant is a must! AVAILABLE HERE
